I'm making a webpage for my education project.

The story is, I accidentally let it slip to one of my professors that I am kind of technological. This resulted in her suggesting that I make a webpage for my project, and me accepting. Because it sounded like fun at the time.

It was much less fun when I realized that I had to do an entire project, and then turn it into a website. I haven't made a website in a long time. I've been using this same basic layout (with color variations) for ages. And besides, this is a one-page thing. The website for my project is multi-page.

I emailed my professor telling her this. I told her that while, yes of course I would have the "content" done, the website itself would likely not be finished by the time I handed in the project. She responded with some cryptic email which I still don't quite understand. But I hope it meant "okay, take your time". Umm... I don't think it did, but I hope it did.

Anyway, I actually am making something somewhat presentable after finally playing around with stuff all afternoon.

But, there is one thing I want to be able to do. I want to use two different custom bullet points (for unordered lists). Can I do that? I can't seem to do that. I can assign an image to the bullet point, but I can't figure out how to tell it to use one bullet point in the class "menu" and another bullet point in the class "content". Or something like that. Can I? Is there a way to tell the CSS to choose between more than one custom bullet point?

Well, fortunately (or unfortunately), the Helpdesk was not able to replicate the problem. When they went to turn my computer on, it turned on. So they sent it back to me unchanged. They said that it was probably a hardware issue, and that I should find someone who knows their way around the inside of a laptop to look at it for me. (Because the Helpdesk is not allowed to open up computers, for insurance issues.)

But, at least I have my computer back.

Do you want to know the absolute best time to see the following message on your computer screen?

"Cannot find operating system"

During finals week. It really helps with the stress levels.

I don't think that editing a student's paper is the right place for a professor to get all snarky and sarcastic. It just isn't helpful.

Yes, I used the word "different" too much. But instead of saying "vary word choice", then moving to "Stop using 'different'", then later saying "I wonder how many times you used this word??", you could have just circled the word "different". I would have gotten the idea.

Or else, don't forbid us from using more than two articles that we read for class in our project. And then, ask us why we didn't use more articles from class in our project. I don't get it. If you told me to use these two sources, I can't use the third. Because YOU SAID SO.

Also, when you write, in response to one of my paragraphs, "Of course it is", you have to remember that you know everything about the topic. I don't. It may be obvious to you, but it's not as obvious to me.

Blah. I don't want to edit this paper.

I just got the two best comments, possibly ever. Thank you Spring and Skyte! You both made me laugh out loud, which is always always a good thing!

Because I find it interesting when other people make lists, (it's always interesting to see what people have to do,) I'm going to make one of my own.

X-Research Proposal for Psychology methods class. (Experiment will not actually be performed.)
_-Final Exam for Psychology methods class.
X-Spanish Final Composition.
_-Spanish Final Exam.
_-Anthropology Final Project.
_-Education observation journal.
_-Education Final Project.

I'm not entirely sure how, but all of this will be done by Thursday. (Actually, that's a lie. Some parts of the education project may not be done by Thursday. But certain parts of it will be done.)

I find it amusing that I carry my laptop the exact same way that I carry babies.

I am SO frustrated about EVERYTHING and really want to be two-years-old so that I can throw a major Temper Tantrum.
