I decided it would be fun to add up all the pages I need to read for next week.

That wasn't a good idea. The number is too high. While reading 297 pages in a week doesn't seem like that much if I'm reading for fun, when it is comprised of psychological studies and other academic readings, it gets a little scary.

Thus, I am doing homework on a Saturday night. Again.

Is it weird that I noticed that my professor re-died her hair? Last class, I noticed there was some grey at the roots and some grey strands throughout, which I had never noticed before. Today, the color was richer than it had been the previous class. And I could tell where the grey strands had been because they were even brighter than the rest of the hair.

Re-reading this: yes, it's weird and kind of creepy that I noticed all that. The thing is, I have to focus intently on the professor's face in order to stay focused and concentrate. The hair is right next to the face. So, when I start spacing out (despite my best effort not to), the hair next to the face is the first thing I see.

Usually if I need to remember something I write it on a post-it note and stick it to my desk or the wall or a book. But, I'm out of post-it notes and I'm never going to be able to remember to buy new ones because I have nowhere to write "buy post-it notes".

The semester is about to start. One of my classes was canceled about two days before it was supposed to start, which is a great way to begin the semester. I lost my keys the first day back - another great way to start. (Luckly, I found them again pretty quickly.) My books are super-expensive (as usual, but slightly more than usual). And, I'm already freaking out about nothing at all.

Semester of stress (including two lab science classes): ready, set, GO!
