I am sitting at the same table as last night. I am sitting with one of the same people as last night. The table is right next to a line of professors' offices. These professors saw us sitting here last night (one of them didn't leave until 10:00 or so), and they will see us sitting here when they arrive. They must think we're crazy. Or living in the science building.

Also, my friend went to throw one of her pages of notes, because she was done with it, and she likes to throw the notes one the floor when she's done with them. But instead, I was hit in the head with phsycis notes. It was funny.

During my Psychology study session we were talking about how boring the class was, despite the fact that the topic is interesting:

Student - "I feel bad when I don't go to class..."
Mentor - "But I feel worse when I do."

(A mentor is an upper-level psych major who leads the review sessions, and comes to class - though she doesn't do much in class.)

So, I am sitting here, studying for my Psychology Final. I'm sitting at a table with two friends, and a window behind me. An adult couple - presumable a set of parents - walked by outside, and one of my friends saw them through the window. She sighed and told me how she wished they were her parents because she is ready to go home. I feel the same way - I'm ready to get out of here. I'm ready to go gone and not have all this school work. I'm ready to get away from all the ragweed and allergins. I'm ready to get away from all the people.

And it's not that I don't like it here. I love here. I'm just ready for a break. And it's strange, because while everyone here seems to feel the same way, other people I have talked to - who go to different schools - do not feel the same way. They are dreading returning home. They don't want to be with their parents and their old lives.

I wonder why that is. Why everyone here is more than ready for a break, and everyone elsewhere doesn't want to leave their school.

Today is National Pipe Cleaner Day!!

They're giving out pipe cleaners all around campus - good ones too. They're neon and multi-colored. I made a braid and wrapped it around my ponytail.

Happy Pipe Cleaner Day!
