It has been really windy out. The sidewalks, which are usually covered with a well packed layer of snow, are now covered with fluffy newly blown snow.
I was wearing my tall three inch shoes, and a heavy backpack containing two textbooks, a few paperback books, a few notebooks, a large calculator, a disk-man, and a glass bottle of V8 juice.
I was walking back to my room through the very snowy path. I tripped. I fell. I could not get up. I was stuck. I fell on my knees. Because of my shoes, I could not get my ankles move in the correct direction to propel myself up. The snow was too deep to just put my hands down and push myself up. My backpack was too heavy, so even if I had been able to do one of the first two options, I couldn't. I was stuck.
Luckily, I was walking with someone. She helped me up.
That was a close one.

I was looking at the
Moosejaw website, when I realized that I am wearing a Moosejaw shirt. Ironic. (Although, not too ironic, since I have two Moosejaw shirts, and I really like them so I wear them a lot.)

Truth and lies are an interesting thing. You can be telling the truth while still lying. That is to say, you can lie simply by withholding information. And no one can ever call you on it. Because you don't think you're hurting anything. You're just not telling the complete truth. But the thing is, by not telling what you know, you are hurting someone. Just because you know you're not telling the whole truth, doesn't mean that other people know you're withholding something. And that something may be important for them to hear. The truth is important. Don't hide it.
And those are my words of wisdom for the day.
