Oh, ew! This site looks even worse on a Mac. Tomorrow, I'm redoing it!

I hate this layout that I made. It's ugly and pukey brown in color, and the purple clashes entirely with the brown. But I'm lazy.

Really lazy.

One of these days, I will redo this so that it is no longer pukey brown.

It's 2004.

I looked back on my archives, and nothing too interesting happened.

Well, I graduated high school and started college. I guess that's interesting. But not too much else happened.

I don't make New Years resolutions, because if I do, I just break them, and then get mad at myself for breaking them.

So, everyone have a good 2004.

The Starbucks Peppermint Mocha is so good. It's a good thing that it is only sold around the holidays. It's also a good thing that there isn't a Starbucks within 30 miles of my school (at least not one that I know of).

"The FBI is warning police nationwide to be alert for people carrying almanacs, cautioning that the popular reference books covering everything from abbreviations to weather trends could be used for terrorist planning," According to this article [FBI Issues Alert Against Almanac Carriers] in the Chicago Tribune.

<sarcasm>But then again, you better watch out for people who are reading murder mysteries, especially the trashy kind - they mention lots of different way to commit murder, so anyone carrying those books must be a murderer...</sarcasm>

My country has gone crazy.

If you say you're going to do something, do it! Especially if it involves calling someone. Don't break plans. And if you do, at least give a good excuse! "I decided to watch a movie and forgot what time it was" is not a good excuse. Especially when you broke plans with the same person only two days earlier, and didn't bother to call until the next day, with a lousy excuse.

(And, C, don't worry. It's not you I'm talking about, it's the other one.)

I feel like Amazon.com just may take over the world.

There are three separate packages coming to my house right now from Amazon. I ordered the Buffy seasons 1-4 DVDs (partially with a gift certificate, and partially with my own money, but the excuse that I will watch episodes in Spanish to improve my Spanish skills). My brother then ordered a baseball bat. And then my parents ordered my sister the Will and Grace season 1 DVDs.

At school, whenever I look in the package room of the post office, I see a lot of Amazon boxes. They're everywhere. People are always ordering things from Amazon at school. Plus, sometimes the boxes are reused, so Amazon just gets more advertising attention.

If Amazon, Google, and the Internet Movie Database teamed up (which Amazon and IMDB already did team up), they could really take over the world...

I hate how putting on chap-stick (I guess that's a name brand, not a product. What would the generic name for it be though? Lip moisturizer or something, I guess) makes my face feel greasy.

I just wrote an entry, and then closed the box, which erased it. I realized it was a worthless comment. It was just about Everwood.

Of course, if I had posted that instead of this, then the entry would have had at least some pretend value, instead of this which is just pointless.

Oh well.
