Today we had a huge gymnastics invite. There were twelve teams there, and it was only for junior varsity teams. We won. Out of 12 teams, apparently ours was the best. We actually got a plaque, (unlike when we win conference and have no plaque or trophy, or even ribbon to show for it). And, I got seventh on bars. While I didn't get my best score ever, I also didn't do my best routine ever. But, I was pretty happy with 7th out of 60 gymnasts competing on bars. I even got a medal. (Although I have been told if you touch it too much, the paint comes off and it's just plain metal.)

I updated my links. Because although I have my updated links in my new layout, I can't figure out how to get the blogger code to work. And I feel bad that there are people who's blogs I read daily who are not on my links list. So, now they are on my links list.

I have always wondered what lorem ipsum meant!

For some reason, my school banned many websites that seem to be banned for no reason. But they didn't ban Blogger, for some reason. It is in no way related to school. But, the fact that my site is not banned makes me feel special.

You can tell it's going to be a long when it's only 6:00, and already your Cream of Wheat has exploded in the microwave.

Look who's on the Snood High Score List. Oh, it's me (SouprGirl)!

I finally registered Snood. I unfortunately no longer get the little poems pleading for me to register. (Dave's kids need clothes / Dave's kids need food / Dave's kids need haircuts / so register snood). But, I get to submit my scores to the High Score List. You should downlaod Snood too, and register it. Because it's fun. Although it can result in a complete obsession and lack of ability to complete necessary tasks (such as homework and doing laundry).

The Disney Channel now plays kids shows all night long. I know this because, when the child I was babysitting last night called his parents to say goodnight, and started crying to his father about how he wanted them to come home, his father said he could stay up until they returned home. So, I watched Disney Channel until about 12:30am. The mother was not so happy when she came home and found the child still awake (neither was I). I don't know how she hadn't talked to her husband, whom she had been with the entire time, to find out that the five year old child had been given permission to stay away until they arrived home.

Yesterday I bought something (two somethings actually) from Abercrombie. (Poor Fitch, he's ignored by everybody. He's not even part of the website address.) I had always vowed to never ever buy anything from there. I said it was overpriced and just too "trendy". But I came to the realization that everything is overpriced, anywhere you go, (unless you go to Kohl's (from which I own one pair of pants) or Marshalls (from which I own my two favorite pairs of pants). So, my sister wanted to go in there (we were shopping for our Hanukkah presents with my grandmother) and I followed. I found stuff that fits. And that never happens. So, I succumbed to something and got the clothes.
